Consume and the Dorks

Back to the present 25^th june to 13^th july 2003

consume surfed back to the present, a performance from constanza macras and dorky park, from the 25th june to 13th july 2003 in kaufhaus jandorf, berlin.

there was a carbon fibre upturned surfboard bought just in time on ebay for 1 euro and picked up with the help of martin liebscher´s mean machine from a well appointed berlin suburb

there were some rented fridges full of beer and a few bottles of vodka and champagne

there was a different dj each night with some of the dorks teaming up to spin the vinyl, pop the power book or to jam live

there was some serious breakdancing

there was some serious dancing

there was a very drunken american girl who made alot of wallflowers very happy, bless her

there were hundreds of photos of dork childhoods

a photo me machine with a time delayed video screen relaying previous antics from behind the curtain

a tea dance, of sorts

the obligatory lounge area

some exotic sushi thingys

a blow up sheep sex toy in a sex shop

found slides projected; other lives glimpsed, recalling our own
